	The Bujinkan Kouryuu Dojo is based in Harlow in Essex. Founded by Shihan Norman Smithers - Judan Ku-Gyo - it has been in existance since 1988. Norman has been involved in martial arts for over 25 years, he visits Japan twice a year to train and regularly teaches at seminars worldwide. The Yorkshire Shibu is one of the 5 Kouryuu Dojo training groups based around the UK. Training sessions are currently held in Leeds & Huddersfield and students are encouraged to attend these whenever possible and others, including seminars held by other groups ( see the links page ). We don't mind if you're a complete beginner or have trained before elsewhere - everyone is welcome to join us. The most important thing is that you enjoy your training and as a result, hopefully, increase your understanding of this martial art ...
